Winemaker Notes
A Rosé of distinction, the 2018 Indie Rosé flaunts its illustrious aromas of peaches and cream in a decadent, yet refined tone. Amid these notes lie citrus driven mandarin and tangelo aromas along with sweeter strawberry and watermelon. The Indie attains a nose that is undeniably Provencal, yet expressive in only a way that Paso Robles grown Tempranillo can achieve. A youthful and sweet entry of lychee and papayas turns creamy in the mid palate with a crema pasticcera sweetness along with a light refreshing acidity. The finish turns juicy as candied pink lemonade and a salivating acidity finish off the experience. A long and mild growing season, perfect for Rosé, is proving to be one of our favorite vintages yet.
