Robert Parker’s- The Cotes du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde L’Esquerde is primarily Syrah and comes all from granite soils. It gives up impressive minerality and crushed rock-like nuances to go with a core of dark fruits, pepper and olive tapenade. Full-bodied, layered and seriously focused and defined on the palate, it should benefit from a handful of years in the cellar and evolve gracefully through 2022 or beyond.
