Ferrari-Carano Tresor
$39.88
Ferrari-Carano’s finest blend of the five classic Bordeaux varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc – from the best selections of our vineyards in Alexander, Napa, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. Silky, elegant and vibrant with aromas of dried blueberry, dark plum, chocolate, toffee and a subtle hint of licorice leading to flavors of caramel, black cherry, pomegranate with a hint of molasses on the lingering finish.
James Suckling- Aromas of sweet red fruit, rosemary and ground spice. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Very smoky on the palate. Concentrated and intense, but with some nuance. The acidity is clear and steady, allowing for good definition of the rich, dark flavors. Drink or hold. 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Wine Enthusiast- This leads with 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, blending in handfuls of Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Tobacco, cedar and oak ride a burly, full-bodied core of soft, round tannins that lengthen on the finish.
