The grapes used made with reaches their full maturity under the Sicilian sun while enjoying the salty breeze from the nearby sea. This wine shows the natural flavors of the indigenous grape variety Nero d’Avola, often recognized as cherry, blackberry and plum, sometimes with an herbal hint of sage. It is aged in oak casks, thereof that typical spicy character of vanilla and chocolate. Drink this wine with an Italian antipasto or with grilled meat and roasted potatoes.
