Deep red in color, with aromas of red fruits, especially prunes and cherries with a slight hint of nutmeg and a delicate balsamic note. This is a strongly flavored Ripasso with just the right level of tannins, good persistence, and an enveloping finish. Especially recommended for accompanying autumn risottos (risotto with mushrooms, red chicory or risotto al Tastasal), pasta and beans, or various roast or baked meat dishes.
