Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1.5 Liter Magnum
The 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is garnet in color with a ruby red rim, it has an alluring nose of blackberry bramble, baking spices, and black olive. Aromas of vanilla, cassis, and sage fill the glass, revealing the influence of American oak barrel aging. On the palate, notes of raspberry are complemented with lingering acidity and a finish of dusty, silky tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine will provide drinking pleasure through 2036.
Blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec
Decanter- Savoury notions of pine and undergrowth join lovely dark fruit on the nose, and American oak adds even more aroma by way of vanilla and coconut. The palate is juicy, full, aromatic and ripe, but there’s structure to hold that lovely fruit, framing it with firm tannins and alluring perfume. Lovely, elegant and complex, combining Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
Wine Spectator- Pure, rich and firm, with an enticing core of blackberry, black olive, dill and herb flavors, ending with a cedary oak edge. Impressive for the mix of intensity and balance. Drink now through 2032.

Featuring panoramic views of Silver Oak’s 70 acres of prime Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards and surrounding 115-acre estate, the historic property features excellent volcanic soil profiles set amidst the rolling bench lands of Northern Sonoma County.
