WINEMAKERS NOTES
MFP is created to show the intensity of Mountain Fruit. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from four outstanding vineyard sites in the VACA mountains of the Napa Valley AVA. (Pritchard Hill) We primarily source our Cabernet fruit from Stagecoach Vineyard. Mountain grapes are small and very concentrated. Their flavor is unmistakable. This wine is strikingly dark purple in color and shows notes of black and blue fruits, cassis, graphite and a sound tannin structure. MFP is approachable now, but built to age for years to come. Decant this wine for an HOUR before drinking and you will be amazed by its power and structure.
