Description
The amazing winery of Bodegas y Vinedos Illana is called Finca Buenavista, built in 1626. Still in the same family, which has been making wine for four generations now, Finca Buenavista is the center of the philosophy of the winery: tradition and artisan spirit. Bodegas Illana owns more than 9,000 hectares of land, 100 of which are dedicated to vines. The soils are poor and filled with river pebbles from the river Jucar, that gives way for the name of the DO. These pebbles are the perfect insulation or the ground & reflect the sunlight on to the grapes.
